The company was established in 2003 by Dr. Harald Schoenfeld and Hans-Dieter Riechmann. Since then the company has not stopped growing. Now, butterflymanager® is one of the leading Interim Management providers in the German-speaking countries.

Since the foundation we assembled a quality-assured pool containing more than 3,500 Interim Managers. This pool is maintained by means of a modern knowledge management system.

Since Interim Management is a comparatively young and dynamic growth market in German-speaking countries, butterflymanager is getting involved with transparancy, quality and professionalism at  industry level. Through active cooperation with inter-trade organizations like AIMP (Arbeitskreis Interim Management Provider) we are in regular contact with competitors and Interim Managers. Since January 2008 our business manager Dr. Harald Schönfeld has been Executive Vice-president of the AIMP.

To guarantee a continuous improvement of our processes we are preparing for  ISO 9000-2001quality certification.
